Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 4th, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when children and families use our iOS application. We designed our app with children’s safety and privacy in mind and collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve the experience.

We encourage parents and guardians to review this policy and contact us with any questions.

1. COPPA Compliance (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act)

Our app is intended for children under the age of 13, and we strictly follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  • We do not collect personal information that can directly identify a child (such as full name, address, or phone number).
  • Any limited data we collect is used only to support internal operations such as analytics, app performance, and subscription management.
  • We do not allow children to share personal information publicly within the app.
  • We do not sell or share children’s data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to make the app function and improve over time:

a. Usage & Analytics Data

We collect anonymous and aggregated data such as:

  • Pages/screens visited
  • Buttons tapped
  • Feature usage
  • Crash reports and performance metrics

This data does not identify your child personally.

b. Subscription & Purchase Information

If you subscribe to premium features, subscription metadata may be collected:

  • Subscription status (active/canceled)
  • Purchase receipts
  • Renewal dates

We use this solely to manage access to paid features — not for advertising or profiling.

c. Optional Profile Avatars (Camera & Photos)

If the app allows children to upload or create avatars:

  • Camera access is used only when a child chooses to take a photo inside the app.
  • Photo Library access is used only to select an optional profile picture.

Photos are stored locally or securely and are not shared unless you explicitly choose to.

3. How We Use Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our app so we can improve usability, stability, and features.

  • Firebase provides anonymized and aggregated reports.
  • We do not use Firebase for targeted advertising.
  • We do not enable features that track users across apps or websites.

Firebase data is retained only as long as necessary for app analytics and troubleshooting.

4. RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to securely manage subscriptions and purchases.

RevenueCat receives limited purchase-related information, such as:

  • Anonymous app user identifier
  • Subscription type and renewal status
  • Purchase receipts required by Apple for validation

RevenueCat does not receive names, emails, or other identifying details about children. RevenueCat uses this information only to verify purchases and manage access to paid content.

5. Camera & Photo Library Permissions

We may request permission for:

  • Camera – if your child chooses to take a photo for an avatar or profile image.
  • Photo Library – if your child wants to pick an existing picture.

These permissions are optional, and the app remains usable even without granting them. Images are not used for any other purpose.

6. No Third-Party Advertising or Tracking

Our app contains:

  • No third-party advertisements
  • No behavioral tracking
  • No data sharing with advertisers

We do not build advertising profiles or track children across apps or websites.

7. Parental Rights & Data Deletion

Parents and legal guardians have the right to:

  • Review any information collected about their child
  • Request corrections
  • Request deletion of their child’s data

To make a request, contact us using the email below. We may take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the requesting adult before fulfilling the request.

We will respond within a reasonable time and delete data where required by law.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. While no system is 100% secure, we continuously work to improve our protections.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify parents.
